The owners of this house approached us with a clear vision as to what the interior should look like. They wanted to keep the rural style in which the whole family home was originally built. They didn’t want a single piece of laminate to be used, and so all furnishing was made from solid wood or sprayed with colour. This made the interior very nice, cosy and – as we hoped – comfortable to live in.
The solid-wood kitchen is sprayed with vanilla colour. The worktop is made from oak, and its surface treated with several layers of quality wax oil.
We custom-made the sideboard and spice drawer. The whole is nicely complemented by rustic handles.
The open shelves provide enough space for all necessary dishes. The curved cabinet is not only visually interesting, but also practical.
A larch table, capable of comfortably seating ten people, is the dining room’s dominant feature. The table top has a wax oil surface finish.
We also made all of the oak doors in the house, both partially glass and solid.
For the bathroom, we made a larch basin cabinet.
And for the bedroom, we made a larch closet, bed, and night tables.
