The owners of a flat located on the first floor of a historic house in the centre of Strážnice conceived of their outdoor seating as a roof terrace with a summerhouse. The project had one advantage, namely that the owners had a direct access from their housing to the adjacent flat roof of the neighbouring building where the construction could be placed.
Our joiner’s shop built not only the access staircase and flooring of the terrace, but mainly the roof summerhouse which accommodates both a spacious seating and a kitchenette with a large fireplace.
The brushing and coloured oil paint make the beautiful structure of the wood and carved features stand out. Openable window shutters provide protection from the hot South-Moravian sun, as well as perfect ventilation.
The summerhouse has a beam ceiling.
